Trainspotting - Moodboard

For this task, we viewed a clip/introduction from the film 'Trainspotting' and created a mood board related to the style and theme of the film.
When watching the film clip, we focused on what the introduction was preparing us for (about the movie) and we focused on factors such as 'denotation' and 'connotation' within the film.
With this, we were able to compose a montage of images to create a 'mood board'.
This enabled us to create a picture and build associated meanings with the film and its theme.

City-Scape Film Opening.

For this task, I created a film opening with a number of different film sequences based on London.
I wanted my film to promote London as an 'exciting' and an 'experience' to visit.
With this, I used a number of different techniques to make this film opening successful, such as including text to communicate, ambience sound/music, entering the film sequences in time/beat to the music to make more of an impact, timing the film sequences well/appropriate with the music and putting the film sequences in the appropriate order to make more of a story and make more sense.
The main advantage I had got from making this, was being able to learn how to piece a movie together using 'Adobe Premiere Pro' which is a highly useful application to use when creating a project like this.
Even though it is a pretty basic film, i have been able to become more familiar with what is important when create a film or film sequence and the techniques needed to make it effective.

(Talk about editing / tools used!)

6 Picture Sequence - 'Every Picture Tells A Story'

For this task, I had to create a 6 picture sequence and take 6 photos that would represent a story line throughout each of the photos i had taken.
I decided to make a simple story line of a character/actor entering a school building.
In this task, I focused on different camera work such as shots, angles, the rule of thirds, framework and composition.
With this, I have already been able to learn and discover more about photo/film sequences and different shots that can be used to create the full effect of the story line.
